Saudi car insurance - best provider

Looking for recommendations for a policy that includes
  • comprehensive insurance
  • driver +4 passengers
  • GCC coverage
  • repair at dealer

As it's national day, I'm waiting for a few companies to get back to me. The Mazda dealership is quoting me over SAR4,000 (which includes fixing the value of the new car until the end of 2014). AXA over the phone said around 3,500. Tawuniya gave me a ball-park figure of around 1500 but that sounds a bit too low for comfort.

I'm not necessarily after the cheapest deal. I'd rather go with a company that actually follows through on claims. Anyone have any experience?

thanks

Have had insurance but thankfully never the need to claim, so can't really comment on which company is the best. Generally speaking, on a used car, the insurance should be 3% of the value of the car. I've had my various cars insured by Allianz and Axa who insure driver, passenger etc etc and ' on paper' they seem to promise all the things you're looking for. I think there is an Axa branch 'opening soon' at Carrefour, Granada.
