Salary in dubai

Hi,

Do you think 19,000 dhs is liveable in Dubai? Family of 3 and a dog. Company provides house but we need to pay bills etc. Child is 1 year old

Can someone elaborate on why 19,000 dhs is not livable in dubai even if accomodation is paid for. please.

19,000 dhs is around £4000 a month right?

Whether it's 4 grand or not doesn't matter , your living costs are in AED . I paid 48 AED for a pint the other day but it was 48AED not 11 quid .

19K is not enough , might be enough for the dog.

900AED for a bottle of Jack (though I did get discount, but still 750AED). And it doesn't last long either!!

I paid 4800dh for a dinner for 5 - one bottle of wine. Luckily I paid using my OPM card.
