Safe Driver

An ironically titled thread for Dubai but I was wondering who knows about or has ever used this service?

http://www.saferdriver.ae/

I'm not averse to dumping the car and taking a taxi but not having to go and fetch it in the morning would be a bonus, especially if you've got a hangover!

It's only available from a few top hotels at the mo, and only between certain hours.

good idea though, hope it takes off, however, knowing the standard of driving here in the dusty city, i'm not sure whether i'd want any tom, dick or harry (translate as needs be) driving my prized lambo around.

if I had one!

Yeah, someone was trying it in Newcastle, I think they had little fold up scooters that would go in your boot and get them to the next job.

Nice idea if the price is right, a 10 minute journey in Newcastle to collect the car is no bother, getting across Dubai the next day would make it more appealing...

oh I used to use a similar service in London - was called Scooterman, and was the best idea ever. They did have tiny scooters - which even fitted into my tiny boot - and the guys didn't seem to mind when you talked cr*p all the way home! ;)

My thoughts exactly.

There should be a caveat.

ARRIVE ALIVE*

As Pajero means wanker in Spanish.

Well it says it all really.

And LJ, what about Knuts in Kia's and Hoodlum's in Hyundais.

If you're going to get personal about my pride and joy!!
