Default Rug Shops

Where can I buy a decent rug? I don't want some cheap IKEA/One/Marina rubbish. Do I need to go to the blue market in sharjah or is there somewhere in Dubai?

sounds like an invite... I'm in

I've just been looking at their website - nice stuff. I must have expensive tastes as I like the 2500 AED rugs.

I'm selling a couple of large pakistani rugs (single knot bokhara). Not new, bought in Thailand about 20 years ago.

Are you buying as an investment or because you'd like to have a nice rug in the home? Will it be a rug that people walk on or one that you'd hang on your wall?

Definitely not investment stuff... needs to withstand split squash, yogurt, biscuit crumbs and mini-millhouse driving his go-kart over it.

They do gender realignment too.

2,500 for something in Zara is cheap. Place is the MOST overpriced shop I've ever been in.

Steer clear. They're *****.
