It's an old compound - 25 years old - was originally the Swedish owned Phillips Ericsson compound. Has been empty for six years, but now totally renovated. Will have usual range of shop, gym , swimming pool, restaurant etc which will all be brand new. National Guard will be present.
250 units in total. All being totally re-furbed in three phases, will be a mix of one, two and three bed bungalows. All look rather dated from the outside, prefab cabin type appearance.
Inside the accommodation: - very nicely done out simple, clean looks, good range of equipment, nice kitchens - all brand new, nice bathrooms. Looks very modern, and stylish
Phase 1 ready for occupancy from August.
Phase 2 and 3 complete by November.
One bed - 85k to 95k per year.
Two beds / three beds - 145k - 150k per year. Exactly the same floor sq m coverage, but of course, one has more bedrooms, which are respectively smaller.
All units have a private back garden, walled off, decent size. Walls are not too high, around three / four feet.
One months rent as holding deposit required. Upon handover, the full years lease required, holding deposit is then used as security deposit.
Exit 35 Khurais Road, so might be a bit too far out of town for some. Looking at their map of units, I reckon they've probably already sold around 20% of the stock, and I reckon at those prices, they will shift pretty fast. The managing company is British, and encouraging Western passport holders as residents.

Re: Riyadh Village Compound - Opening Soon
Hi,
I'm urgently looking for an apartment, preferably 1 bedroom, on a compound in Riyadh. Do you know of anywhere available at the moment? Do you know if Riyadh Village has some space as it is relatively new? I'm a single British female and I have just arrived in Riyadh. I appreciate any help you can give me.
Many thanks!

Re: Riyadh Village Compound - Opening Soon
Does anyone know how to contact Riyadh Village please? Have emailed repeatedly and have tried to ring on many many occassions over the past few days - numbers I am trying are 00966 1246 4900 & 00966 1246 2400 but can get no reply from either number.
I am seeking accomodation from the UK so not the easiest thing to do! If anyone has an alternative number I would be really gratefull.
Thanks
