Riyadh social events

Hey everyone,

recently moved to Riyadh from Canada (as a teacher) I'm quite new here and looking to network with fellow expats through social events, as it can get quite depressing here esp on the weekends. Can anyone be gracious enough to let me know how to get on the email/guest lists for any upcoming embassy or compound events? Thanks a lot. Cheers!

Get to Canadian Embassy and badger them about social events there.

Also US Embassy

UK Embassy does stuff every month - only thing is you need to be a 'friend' of someone in there to invite you for the event.
