Default Riyadh req: Juniper berrier, etc.

Hey all,
I hear Juniper berries are fantastic for an upset stomach & I just won't have any replacement, anyone know where I can find them? In fact, I have a shopping list:

Juniper berries
star anise
licorice root
bitter almonds
cardamom

Help finding ANY of these things would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Ethan

Juniper berries are apparently used in KSA to turn industrial grade sid into 'gin' so they must be available somewhere

Sid? Gin?!?! Harram!!!! Harram, I say! My intentions are purely medicinal, I assure you.

I've checked with several different shops, like herbalists, etc. & can't find them.

P.S. What is "industrial grade" sid?

GNC might carry the the extracts/capsules of Juniper Berry & Licorice Root. The Star Anise & Cardamon are pretty common here in the supermarkets. The Bitter Almonds might be found in the many herbal shops in Batha or Shamsi.

You also might want to make sure you don't have Helicobacter pylori which is very easy to catch, especially here in ME.

Here's a website you might like.

Thanks so much, DesertOcean - I'm sure I'm ok RE: parasites, it's only an occasional need, plus I think I wouldn't be gaining so much weight if that were the issue.

I'll check the herbal shops for the others though. Just need that Juniper!
