Smile Riyadh International Schools

Hi everyone!
We will be relocating to Riyadh in early 2022. I have been exploring international school options and have contacted both BISR and AIS-R.

My dilemma is that we are relocating from Scotland and, as there are no Scottish curriculum options, my son will be switching to a different curriculum and exam system. He is currently studying for his National 5 exams, which are a one year course, and would be sitting them in May 2022. I am slightly reassured that both UK and American system have 2 year courses affording him some catch-up time.
Does anyone have experience of relocating children during exam stages and how this went?
I would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has relocated from Scotland and how their children have adapted to the different systems.

Many thanks in advance!
