There are approx 300 large villas available at the Dorrat Al Jadawel Compound near Exit 10 Riyadh. This used to be the compound I understand for British Aviation and the National Guard. Have stayed there last week, great facilities and excellent security.

No, RSAF contractors lived there.
Since the bombings many moons ago, where Jadawal was hit too, nobody has lifted a finger on this compound. There are some facilities which, if taken care of, would be ok. But they are not...that's why all the Americans left this compound.

The houses are great, huge, spacious and well furnished. at least that was the case 9 years ago.....from what I was told the place has being going down the drain since.

My company has taken on 2 villas there. Although its a bit of a ghost town at the moment with I think only 27 villas out of the 400 being taken some by large Engineering US an UK companies. I understand also there will be a new management team coming in but I can say the villas being taken have been more or less fully refurbished.

I knew a few people on that compound last year but since the recent troubles with certain people and strange going on within that compound.
It was a very nice compound but the last time i was year about this time last year minor work was required but a very large and some very biggggg villas.

Unfortunately the cheapest rental on Jadawel is over 400,000 sar.

Visited a few months back and pretty run down, but as has been said the villas are big.

There are still many villas available but will all be taken up towards June. These are 4 bed villas with a maids quarter and a drivers quarter so in theory 6 Beds. You can probably get a good deal.
