I went to Zuma last night at the DIFC. Awesome, nice buzz to it although obviously it's a little pricey.

Re: Restaurants in Dubai
Why dont you try Smiling Bangkok behind the Emirates garage on Al Wasl Road near the Post Office. The food is excellent, the decor funky and the price is very good value. Beats those boring 5 star hotels all the time.
They also turn a blind eye to you bringing in your own "water" bottles. |
