Default restaurant with private room...

...looking for a restaurant for dinner that has a private room which seats around 12 people...

it needs to be a separate room, rather than private space, as it's for a working dinner...but it must be licensed...

any ideas...? we're struggling to find anything suitable...thanks!

There is one down by the Madinat souk in the Mina Salam.

I think it is Thai or Cantonese or Asian fushon at any rate.

I cannot remember 'exactly' where it is but I seem to remember it being right next door to / downstairs from the Barhri (sp) Bar (the nice bar in the mina salam with the awesome singer and the Eddy Grant keyboard playing look a like).

They have a room in the corner which will seat about 12 round a big circular table. Doors can be shut off from the rest of the restaurant.

Azur at the Harbour Hotel has a private dining room. Not sure if you've been yet but the decor is lovely, the ambience is good and the food is great.

NOT Mezzanine. Their 'private' dining room is a giant perspex box, the least private of rooms ever.
