Default Residency visa question

My daughter will be living in Dubai with her partner who cannot sponsor her therefore will she be able to obtain a residency visa without sponsorship?

The short answer is...no.

She will have to exist on tourist visa runs (and you can now only renew three times before having to leave the country for at least a month), unless she gets a job and her company sponsors her.

a few weeks ago.

IIRC it's not three times you can renew, it's twice.

But you can still extend each one by 30 days.

So really you can be here for 9 months and then exile yourself for a month, not the end of the world if you're not working here...

I was actually referring to all Asian people not just Pakistanis and Indians.
