Removals UK to Muscat

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a removals company to ship our stuff from Oxfordshire to Muscat?
Thanks!

When we moved to Dubai in 2005 we used Allied Pickfords. Same again when we moved from Dubai to Muscat in 2012. Not the cheapest but then you get what you pay for. We were more than happy - nothing broken or "lost" during either move - and they (or their local agents) took care of all the paperwork and customs stuff/formalities each time. Being extremely lazy we also paid for the full service - they packed, shipped, delivered and unpacked each time and we also insured the most expensive items each time, too. Lots of people don't bother with the insurance which can add a substantial amount to the cost of your move. I guess it depends whether you're a risk-taker or not ... we aren't and didn't mind the extra cost as it was, in each case, our whole lives being shipped. If the container fell off the ship (or the ship sank/was hi-jacked) on the way to Dubai or if the two lorries which were carrying our worldly belongings crashed on the road between Dubai and Muscat at least we'd have had some form of recompense 😏

Other companies which may be worth looking at are Crown Relocation and Writer Relocations. Hope this helps.
