Hi All,

I've just bought a fridge and washing machine off Dubizzle and needit moving, I've called a few numbers on Dubizzle for removal services and have had quotes varying from 800 -300 but the 300 was a nightmare to talk to and I have no doubt he would not turn up at the right place or at the right time. I've spoken to one guy who i got down to 350 - moving from JLT to Tecom- does this sound reasonable- if not can anyone recommend anyone- better still anyoen got a van and fancy moving ot for me?

In certain street in Al Quoz there are blokes hanging around trucks of different sizes and you can hire them for a short period to shift & move things. They are pretty cheap and you pay them at the end.

I used a guy off Dubizzle for a washing machine. He was prompt and delivered it no probs (150dhs). However, next time I needed him - was a nightmare (always saying he was on his way and then never turning up).

Best bet is to do what is said above, just pull over and ask a man with a van.
