Relocating to Sharjah
 

I an an Australian and I am considering a job offer at the moment. Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea about life in Sharjah. I have a husband and 2 children 10 & 11 who are into sport.

hiya,

where are you and/or your husband going to be working? Due to the traffic i would recommend that you base your location on and around your work. The traffic in Sharjah is a nightmare

for kids 10 and 11 i would think that Dubai would be a better option for western schools, sports and activities, but i am not really qualified to answer that.

The forum mothers will be up and about soon no doubt so you will get a better answer

A friend of mine was in Sharjah for a few years, her sons went to Victoria English Speaking School and she loved it there. They moved to Dubai due to his office relocating to Jebel Ali. I am sure it would be fine. There is a great expat club there called Sharjah Wanderer's.
