They can't fill them for some reason. Hideous furnishings don't help. Ishbillia was one of the ones bombed in 2003 iirc.

British school is the best you're going to get in Riyadh. They get so many enquiries that they probably don't take you seriously until you turn up. You need to speak to Mrs Steele once your husband is here. Hubby's usually come out first and until he gets his iqama they school won't consider you. Compounds mean everything try to get on a good one. A great place for little ones.
