Default Relocating pets

Hi,

We've managed to find someone back in UK to take our cat in, but not sure what the procedure is - I was told we need to get her tested/vaccinated/chipped then after 60 days we can send her back?

We were also told that once back she will we have to spend some time in 'Noahs Ark' at Heathrow - has anyone done this?

Thanks (in anticipation!).

From my understanding with Cats ( Have 3 here of our own ) from the veterinary hospsital they need to be fully vaccinated, the rabies jab will be tested 10 - 14 days after its done to check the level is the correct level and at the same time a chip will need to be done.

When I saw our vet before Christmas I told there was no holding period in the uk anymore hence - rabies jab/chip/full vacs done..... the few hours that they remain in care is awaiting arrival of who ever is looking after your cat and ensure that is is healthy after the flight.

The UAE is part of the Pets Travel Scheme and you avoid quarantine if your plan tour cats trip wel in advance... Alll pets travelling out of the UAE must have a health certificate issued from either the ministry of agriculture & fisheries ir Dubai municipality depending on destination.
