Reliability of Evision HD box
 

Now that I have fibre optic I can go for the HD package with E-vision for only 10 aed per month extra (prior to this I would have had to buy the box for 1000aed).

However I have heard rumours that the boxes are notoriously unreliable and breaking down. A friend at work has one, has called out Evision a number oof times, who are always late as they' have so many other brokenboxes to fix' (quote from their engineers).

Can anybody confirm or refute the situation.

I have had the eVision box on Cable for years and upgraded it to HD about 12 months ago (Cable, not eLife Fibre OPtic) and can honestly say I never had a single breakdown.

Cant say for the Fibre Boxes, but theoretically shoudl be more reliable than coppoer cable.
