Recommendations in Abu Dhabi please

I need to find a new dentist - I have a fear of them, and am a complete and utter wuss on the pain front. A paper cut will reduce me to tears, so when they start poking around doing the exam I am howling in agony. I need a calm, patient dentist who can work miracles and do stuff without me ever feeling anything.

I also need a dermatologist. I want to check out my skin as I think I am having excema so would prefer a skin specialist rather than anyone else.

Any recommendations for either.

Thanks in advance.

I used Mark Partridge at the British Dental Clinic recently for some fairly major dental work and I thought he was very good. My wife went to see him too, she's more worried about dentists than I am and she liked him too.

There are a couple of other 'British' dentists there so maybe Commander saw someone else.

(And Commander, I'm not trying to strike up another argument by disagreeing with you, honest.....)

Made an appointment at BDC with Mark as the Intercon chap was really busy and couldnt see me for a month.

Fingers crossed that he isnt Mark the Butcher as per Commanders post above. Gulp.

Fear not, the butcher is called Calum. Watch for the upselling though, you go in fine, leave needing 15 fillings, a root canal and a brace.

I played golf with Golum several years ago. Seeing how he wielded his long irons I don't think I could trust him with a drill in my gob.

He did have a nice set of Berillium Pings though

Thomas Berger at the German Medical Centre is a good dermatologist.

Heard great things about the guy at the Intercon.

Get the dentist to look at your skin complaint, and the dermatologist to do your dental stuff. They're all cross-qualified multi-taskers these days..........

Cheers Dean!

Ended up not going to BDC but instead Dr Rocco who was fab.

Still got manky skin though!
