Reassurance?

Hello,

I have reciently moved to Dubai with my family from England and have a residency visa on my fathers sponsorship.
I am itching to find a job. I have applied to LOADS for nearly two months now with no success. I'm starting to think I haven't got a chance because I do not possess a degree. I do have just under five years experience in lab work and vocational qualifications which surely at just 22years of age, must count for something.
I haven't met any friends here either, or done any socialising. Is it just a case of to keep trying? I really want to make the most of this opportunity in Dubai, but I'm starting to want to go back home if I don't have any success.
Any advise?
Sami

Hi Sami welcome to the forum. be a little more patient, 'tis a busy time of year!!! There are a few people here who would be willing to meet and greet you as friends....after Christmas....in the bars around Dubai.

As for jobs.....I am sure you will get some good advice here also....just give it a few days.

Best Wishes Jools
