Do you get a little tingle down your spine when you spot an opportunity to come across like Victor Meldrew? Why bother posting that shite?

aye BB2, crashes are really funny.

we go the other way via New Shahama to the marina on the evenings, Always get caught up in traffic past JA.

Leaving Officers City 6pm on a Thursday, time to Marina 1h minimum.

They are paying LOADS of money for these courses (Executive Education) so if they do not make the most of them... it's their problem not mine! Plus tea breaks (=Networking!) are more important for Expats than locals.

I will budget 2 hours plus then and maybe stay in town overnight.

Thanks a lot for the info.

yep there is that way, sush, dont tell everyone, but yes once you get to JA then the fun begins, if you go around the bypass/emirates road that helps but that can get pretty blocked too.

On a good day from the Tourist Club I can reach Bur Dubai in around 1.5 hours assuming no stops for coffee and donuts!

Always give yourself 2 hours though because there are unexpected road works and plenty of accidents nearly everyday and you'll be fine.

And slow down once you reach the Dubai boarder and see those black cameras - they are set to flash you at lower speeds than the Abu Dhabi cameras!

but if you are going down salam st towards cbd or tca then you have to factor in the roadworks there at salam st, which will be around for another couple of years.

Why are you such an arrogant twat? The question of commuting between DBX-AUD has been asked many times before. Here is just one example. Posters should try a simple search. Its not rocket science.
