hi,just having trouble looking a property to buy in dubai / ad that is already up/complete...are there any good sites to look at for this...everything seems to be still under construction....looking at villa's......many thanks

Oh, you picked the wrong place to ask this question! The majority on here are against buying property here. but for those that have (my wife and I being in this category), I have never heard anyone say they regret buying (with the exception of someone that completely over-stretched themselves and couldn't actually afford to keep what they bought).

We found that a number of other sites had fantastic prices, but when you got in touch the property was sold (links real estate for example).

Getting hold of a copy of Gulf News will be the best bet - property sections crammed with both under off-plan and completed properties.

real estate websites here are generally designed to titilate you into getting in touch with them, rather than actually providing real places for sale at actual prices.

Best to call agents and go in yourself - or drive round and look at the for sale boards (I've said this before - are people that lazy they can't be bothered to do that?)
