not sure - try www.gulfnews.com - in their classifieds section. I am paying 85k for a 2 bed in Dubai, AD I would guess 95 - 100.

Ah sod it. I'll just ask for an over inflated package that should cover the dodgy rent...............

And then probably get told to sod off!!

I've just been offered a rental allowance of 120,000 per year which they said would get a nice 2 bed in AD, they said 160,000 for a 3 bed villa.

I really don't know about Abu - did you check out gulf news classifieds. As I said before we are paying 85k in Dubai but I think we got a 'good' deal - I say that as 5 years ago we moved into a fab villla for 75k! As long as the rest of the package is good then go for it. You need medical etc etc :)

Looked at a couple of furnished & unfurnished two weeks ago. Going rate for furnished ones is beetween 120 and 135k, unfurnished ones in new buildings close to Corniche area go for about 100-115k. The ones I saw were with underground parking - my guess is this piece adds about 10k p.a. Looks like three bedrooms are only insignificantly more expensive. Unfurnished ones in new buildings go for around 130k. Looks like market forces are in full swing - there are almost no 2bdr in the market - is likely to change over the next 2-3 yrs looking at current development underway and those announced.
