QS in dubai?
hey can anyone tell me what it like being a assistant/Quantity surveyor in dubai? ggod points ? bad points?
i am looking to come over in bout 6 months.

Easy.
Make sure you negotiate a good package, especially on the accomodation front. Who are you looking to work for?
Additionally, try not to use recruitments consultants. They're just after the commission. Try and contact companies directly as it will lead to a better package.
I'm a QS based over in Abu Dhabi (hour and a half from Dubai). If you need any help send me a private message and I'll fill you in on all the details. Like everyone, we're looking to recruit staff as well!

thats sounds encouraging. you think I could contact companies now and confirm with them that i would like to start in january?? or are they looking for employing people instantly. its just i have to deal with a few things in england if i decide to go and need a few months for preperation.
