QP recruitment process
 

I have intervened with QP and will be getting an offer. At this stage i have only filled the form to get then my info and I believe the next step is to get the offer. Can someone please let me know what i should expect (steps and timeline). Thanks in advance

Have you asked them what the process is? Have they given you a timeline?
Whenever I've asked HR/ Recruitment what I can expect they have always been very open about the next steps and when you can expect things.

Once you accept the offer, you would be asked to get a medical checkup and background checks. Background checks can take time depending on how responsive your previous employer and university are (usually 4-5 weeks).

Once checks are completed, you would be asked to resign from the current employer and provide a travel date to Qatar.

So it didnt take long for QP to do background checks and verify degrees and i did my medical all in one month. They have applied for my visa approval last week.

Hi Expatfemale and dmsvud,

I hope both of you settled in well at QP. Since you are in there, could you help out on the below points?
1. Do they make an offer based on your current payslips?
2. Do they generally offer you something reasonably higher based on your current salary? would be great to know the % increase
3. Do you have to pay a rental (if yes, how much, roughly) if you leave in the QP compound?
