Qatar

I've just read about a QP 'engineer' and his buddy (both Indians) who have been awarded 10 years in the nick followed by deportation for attempted bribery/corruption. www.gulf-times.com

No names were given and I'd be interested to know who these guys are, can anyone enlighten me?

I'm sure that anyone who has working experience in Qatar will understand why I used quotation marks on the the word 'engineer'...

All info gratefully received, thanks.

Why are you so interested? What does have to do with you...unless you are planning something similar? It seems to me that a greedy worker simply got caught with his hands in the till...

In a civilised country I could take you to court for that accusation. I worked in Qatar a couple of years ago, and it was the general view that lots of people were involved in stuff like this. I was hoping to find out who got caught and then have a little celebration for myself if it is who I think it is.
I don't hold with twisted, corrupted scum who take bribes. Does that answer your question?

In a civilised country, the court would laugh their b*****ks off if you tried to...

Well this is pointless dribble, more so than usual, and if you can't be nice, keep stum.
