Husband has to go to Europe next Sat night, but we do have the tennancy agreement for the new Villa. He won't be back til Wed evening and we are moving on Thursday. Can he sort out the DEWA on the Saturday morning as long as we have all the right paper work?

I got no response on there, hence I posted it here. Patsy can you have two DEWA accounts at the same time? we will need this one cancelling on the Sat after we have moved

I didn't have a problem when I moved villas. I got this 1 connected and the old 1 disconnected a few days later. As long as they get the deposit and the rest of the paperwork it shouldn't be a problem xx

you will need to make sure first that there is no outstanding balance from the previous tenant, as Dewa won't connect you otherwise, this is a new rule that causes a lot of problems for everyone.

I connect Dewa for my clients, as long as you have the paperwork this is no issue, but he does need to sign the registration form himself.

oh, sorry, misread, thought you asked if you could do it for him, which you can, but that wasn't the question.

ha ha ha, well his timing couldn't have been worse, not back here until late Wednesday night and we are moving on Thursday morning, could do with a bloke tackle the electrical stuff, tellies and dvd's, sound systems etc.

I've just come back from Malaysia and there were lots of "public service" adds in bus shelters etc which said "Before you hump, cover your stump"!!

I am sure they are used to it, but I would prefer if to be done by D rather than someone who doesn't know how it is all wired up. Our sound system was not cheap by any means. I have used this Company before and they are superb, it's too late after the event.

Well the Agent we are using been amazing, he is sorting out the DEWA on our behalf. Nice guy, not many decent Agents about these days.
