dear all, a question please.

Objects like smartphones, tablets etc: are they more convenient in Europe or in Doha? I suppose that in Doha there is no VAT (22% in Italy) but maybe prices are higher for some other reasons.

Can you give me some prices, or suggest me some websites where I can see prices of electronic devices in Doha?

Before coming to Doha I would like to have a tablet and a smartphone because I think they could be useful for many reasons. I am wandering if it is better to buy them here or in Doha. Thanks

High end smartphones are in the 2400-2600 range (700$)

Ipad air or ipad 3 ive seen it around 1600-1800

So all in all, pretty much the same as in US, dunno about europe
