dear all. desperate for advise! If someone been through a divorce with a local in UAE please respond. One child involved. 7 yr. My son have had British passport from birth now his father changed his paspsort to UAE without my concent. Threatens to take my child from me. I have been to Sharia court but had to withdraw the case as received a threat to take my son immediately so that i never will see him. Made a statement in the Embassy that passport was taken by force and i did not agree to changing the passport at all. I did not sign any papers so I dont know how this local managed to get UAE passport. he is not a well connected person just an average Rashid from Dubai.. kindly respond.Will appreciate any information.

The only advice I can give is to not marry locals...sorry.
