Places to take visitors in Bahrain
I have a collection of mates, hangers on, mates-of a-mate's mate etc coming out in the the next couple of months and having only really spent time in Bahrain either on business or during Ramadan I don't have many ideas as to what I'm going to do with any of them. Anybody know of any Bahraini gems (that don't involve shopping malls......)
Cheers for any help  |

Erm, that's it. Have a read of this article in Timeout. Maybe some tips can be found there, but knowing Timeout it will mainly be focused on shopping and restaurant... |

Aren't there a couple of beach clubs you could get them into for a day?

Re: Places to take visitors in Bahrain
There really is jack sh*t to do but if they are a ruck of competitive guys then head down to the BIC
You can race round in Caterhams or up and down hills in a Hummer etc. The tour of BIC isnt half bad to be honest Besides that I would head to Diggers and let them find something to amuse themselves with for 30 Bhd. That'll keep them happy |

You could kill a few hours by going to look at the causeway, from various angles.

On a recent visit there I spent most of my time on the internet, listening to music or just looking out the window

I like the warbler but always got the shits when I ate there. The other bars in the hotel are dreadful!
i've been to warbler many times, mainly just for a drink or two on the standard manama pub crawl, but i've never gone to any of the other bars in the hotel...too early on the round to venture into strange places.. |
