Bin Sougat Mall near the airport has one downstairs...if you like orange, green or blue chicks.

Ever since is saw a half blind 3 week old spaniel in one of these 'pet shops' that had been illegally imported from armenia, I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from a pet shop. Ps we bought the spaniel, called him Jock, sorted his health out and then gave him to a lovely brit family who are in the ranches. He is now fully grown, healthy and happy. As the family were english, they changed his name-bastards (lol)

I have a very, very big problem with the pet "shops" here. Total respect for what you did. Really.

I went to the "pet" area in Abu Dhabi last week to buy a hamster cage. God awful place, loads of illegal animals but having been there before I wasn't too shocked... until of course I saw an 8 year old local boy walking around with a baby monkey clinging to him. I spoke with the very proud father who told me about the great deal... 2000Dh.

I took a picture with my blackberry - hence the poor image quality as it was at night

The real question is what will happen to bubbles when it gets big and starts shitting all over the villa, I think the best case scenario is a one way trip to Al Ain.
