Personal Trainer/ Strength and conditioning
Hey Guys,
I am looking for information on how to fine work in Dubai as a personal trainer/ strenth and conditioning coach,
Can anyone tell me were to start looking?
Is there a guide to what the pay rates would be over there.

Hi Simon..Unless you mean to set up on your own, you will need to get in touch with the gyms and/or hotels out here. Fitness First are always looking for people..I really can't comment on them ..but they are opening lots of gyms out here.
What are your qualifications and experience? I will try to point you in the right direction then.

I have heard that the Atlantis Hotel is recruiting fitness folk too, do a search on the tinternet for their contact information

I go to fitness first and they do personal training, about £25 an hour, they are mainly phillipino, well trained though but I don't think they get much cash, they get a tiny base salary so make all their money from personal training - so it could be hard to break into mate.

i was just out with some friends and one of them said that there is a real shortage of pilates instructors here...apparently the habtoor grand is desparate for one, don't know whether you do this performax, but something to think about...
