Default Pay Pal.

Has any one had any dealling with this set of Muppets lately.
I like a lot of people use Ebay back home.
Now then i had a new c c from the good ole HSBC last month.
When i try to upgrade my new card details online no problems
then i try to use my Pay Pal account a few days later, and i find out my account has been frozen due to this new card.

I have used my new card for a few things lately and all is ok.
Ebay say its not me john !!! as they would.

Now after writing emails to Pay Pal and even via my own web site on pay pal nothing.
What a Donald Duck company to use.

I also had problems renewing my card. In the end, opened a new account in Mrs RK's name. Can't survive without buying chrome from the US!

doesn't google do a checkout system now too? I have no idea about the ins and outs of it, but it's far, far smoother than PayPal was for me (ie a world of faff)

Paypal are ridiculously crap and frankly cannot be trusted with any money in the account. If someone complains about something you have sold (ie says they haven't received it, or worse it was broken) they will just take it our of your account. No questions asked...

Unless you're just using them as a payment processor I wouldn't recommend using them for anything.

There are plenty of alternative services that can do the same thing.

nochex
moneybookers
amazon payments
google checkout
western union

Just because paypal is integrated into ebay it doesn't mean others can't do the same thing....
