Wondering if someone could help me, i wish to apply for my daughters uk passport but was wondering could i do this from the uk or have to do it from her birth country?.

Since this is the UK expats site I assume that your daughter is UK nationality, in which case we have links to the passport site. But your wording leads me to suspect she is something different to being a British Citizen.

I am British and father is Egyptian She was born in Egypt.

What do you mean by British as there are 6 different 'flavours', not all of which can pass it on to their kids:
British citizenship;
British overseas citizenship;
British overseas territories citizenship;
British national (overseas);
British protected person; and
British subject.

Don't see why you can't do it in the UK , it's a lot cheaper doing it there too. Presumably you were born in the UK so you have no problems passing on your nationality. I've been through this with my own kids.

its the fathers nationality isnt that you will get so if you are brit and he is egypt then must be done in egypt i think?

A passport is the travel document and proof of nationality . A child doesn't suddenly become British on getting the passport . Presuming the mother was born in the UK then the child is automatically British too, passport or not.
