Just coz you're tangentially challenged there's no need to get your leathers lathered, buddy. We've got all sorts here already.

And what've you got against allsorts anyway?

I'll most likely book it in with Bosch - they wouldn't really give me a price...

wasn't really sure.....that she should tell you, for fear of scaring you off!! I don't know how much Mr. Habtoor charges but can't see it being purse friendly - not on a full service! I am in the trade myself and have contacts, should any of you require help. I can't get discounts , I wouldn't think, but I will try to steer you in the right direction of who to / not to use....

We just used Dynatrade for a full service on the Toyota. Fattain wanted 1900Dh, Dynatrade - 1000Dh - couldn't fault them really.

I saw Pajeros there too.

Bigtaff, I'd be keen to know your thoughts on them.

that is one hell of a difference!! the thing is she is going up for sale so this is the last service we will be paying for and I wanted to keep it with the main dealer as all the other ones have been? for resale value etc?

I will ask around, no problem. I believe they are part of a chain, they sell consumables to the mechanical / body repair world here as well as servicing. Unfortunately, what people do forget is, companies like Al Habtoor etc are main dealers and so their staff are trained SPECIFICALLY on your cars. That means any service faults that are logged with Mitsubishi (in this example) are sent out to Dealers who, if its a warranty fix, will then carry this work out for free while the vehicle is in. Rusty Spanner Inc do NOT have access to this info and so will do only what you ask, in a general mechanical knowledge way. It depends if your happy saving some money but not actually having your car looked at properly, because that generally is the way here.

With all due respect, Pajero's don't have much of a resale value because the market has been flooded with them now. 99,000AED for a brand new, pretty much fully loaded Pajero these days. That's a lot of car for not a lot of money!!
