Is there anything stopping you spending time working online for a UK company, getting paid into a UK bank account? One of my friends moving to the UAE has asked me about this, she will be sponsored by her husband.

You mean from a tax point of view?

Liability to UK income tax depends on two issues:

• Whether the person is considered UK non-resident for tax purposes
• Whether

the work is considered to carried out in the UK.

If the answers are yes and no, respectively, then there should be no tax liability, but I strongly suggest that the monies be paid to an offshore account.

Apart from the tax issue pointed out by Meow... who would know?

Assuming that she will be working for some kind of porn site, I suggest that they get a VPN organised before they come out so it would be impossible to trace.

The men here would also be grateful if you could organize some VIP passes to the site for a couple of weeks.
