One in three of us in KSA to go in next few years

"Nearly three million expatriate workers will have to leave the Kingdom in the next few years as the Labor Ministry has put a 20 percent ceiling on the country’s guest workers."
It was always going to happen, at some stage they were going to have to stand on their own feet, and it looks like it will be sooner rather than later.
Edit: Note that they are specifically not targeting construction labourers, which means it is the clerical, managerial and technical positions which at risk...

you say it like its a bad thing...
All these firms will continue to operate as they do,(well the construction ones) essentially using KSA branch offices of off-shore companies to circumvent local regulations..so fear not

I know free will as a concept is not encouraged in KSA, but you could just up and leave when you have had enough you know..
On a serious note, this law or whatever will have very little effect in total. In fact it will probably bring back the good old days when the western CEO was on an electricians visa (or even worse driver) as those were the only ones you could get..
