Omra Visa stamped on attached old passport

hi all

i hope someone would be able to help.

(I stappled my old Expired passport with my new one when i applied for visa)

I have been issues an Omra visa (pilgirmage - 30 days visa) by the Uk Saudi embassy yesterday.

PROBLEM:

POTENTIAL BAD POINT? When i reached home i realised that they have pasted the visa (sticker / stamp) on my old attached passport pages instead of new one. the old passport is now cancelled/expired.

GOOD THING : the Visa has all details of my new passport (photograph, passport number, date of birth etc)

Will i cause any problems in UK or KSA?

Why did you staple the old passport to the new one?

I wouldn't be so sure. You have a visa stamped in an expired passport. Even though it has the correct details, I doubt very much that it is valid and it's a big risk to take. I think you better get back to the Umrah agency or see if the Embassy can transfer it to your current passport. Even if the Embassy in the UK say it's OK, Saudi pasport control might still refuse to accept it. Don't take a risk coming here and then getting turned back at Jeddah airport. I still can't work out why you gave them your expired passport!
