Oman thread?
 

Hi guys - anyone know if there is a dedicated Oman / Muscat thread?

Trying to understand more info about the place before applying for a role there.. such as salaries compared to other places, cost of living, activities for families etc...

It's all under this one roof - Middle East Forum covers all the Gulf region including Oman. It tends to be dominated by KSA and UAE.

I've only visited once, but really liked the placed, a lot more chilled out than KSA or UAE. I think it's not as oil rich as the others, so salaries would be a little less, but lifestyle would be, in my view, a lot better. If I had the chance to move there on the same salary as now in KSA, I'd go tomorrow.
