Olympics on Showtime?
 

Does anyone know if Showtime has coverage of Olympics (and what channel)?

I heard something on the radio saying it was going to be on TV in Dubai with English commentary.

yup heard it wil be on three local channels 1 maybe in english. no idea about showtime though

I had a spam text yesterday telling me that it's on Dubai Sports - isn't that one of the free channels that everyone gets in every package?

after alot of fiddling around we got it in English on Dubai Sports 2 :)

Don't expect the sort of blanket coverage you'll get from Auntie Beeb at home...... there just isn't the history or tradition out here for those sports.

Football World Cup coverage? Of course - Saudi in particular have a long tradition of qualifying.

must say the coverage i've seen of the opening ceremony looked amazing...i'm already cringing at the thought of what london will manage in 2012...

I expect it will be a disaster, they are already worried about power (some of my old customers in docklands have said they have been warned that there will not be enough).

If the London Opening Ceremony starts to get dull, we could always ask Madam Medusa and Sheikh Hamdan to put on a special performance for us........ as long as it's a late night show, of course.........

Ive got olympics through showtime although not on actual showtime have you show box with remote if so you need to press tv button above tv guide and then get bouquet options choose public nilesat then on mine its channel 271 dubai sports 2. Not great but better than nothing and english commentary apart from the call to prayer breaks

I've got it on Al Jazeerah Sports +3, and on A J +1 the charity shield and A J +2 tottenha, v roma.

if show time has the dubai or abu dhabi sports channel then you have live coverage but im not too sure thats why im looking it up on the internet..

and also i definitly know orbit has live coverage of the olympics
