Offshore account

Hi folks

Could anyone recommend a reliable and secure offshore bank that offers multi currency? The reason is, I don't have permanent address as I keep moving from one place to another. I don't own a property in the UK so I don't have address there. Having an offshore account is a peace of mind for me as I don't need to change bank when I move from one country to another.

Thanks
Scott.

HSBC Expat is a common choice. Don't have it myself, but ...

Lloyds International has GBP, Euro, USD I believe, not sure if any other currencies.

I use HSBC Expat. I’m pretty sure they will still want an address though. Even though I was an existing HSBC customer I still had to provide my housing contract from UAE.

Does any of these accept not having address in the UK?

HSBC Expat (Jersey) is very much geared around customers who don’t live in the UK but they will usually still want proof of address wherever you do live when you open the account as well as ID etc.

You might want to also investigate Wise Financial and Revolut,

I'm sure they do. Lloyds International for example says: "Available in many countries but not all." So I expect they'd accept someone living in the UEA but not in North Korea.

I have just been looking into this a bit. Husband is in Saudi. HSBC don't seem to do accounts for people based there but Lloyds International just wanted proof he was living there - so didn't want an address in Uk or anywhere else (we don't have one)
