hiya everyone. im goin to dubai on monday with my girlfriend. im stayin on jumeriah beach .any tips on what to do and where to go. were there till saturday? would be most appreciated.thanks

i know. i just think it will probably anothe 5 years to go again cos its that expensive to go. i think it is a great picture oppurtunity and ive done 1 before so i know how good it is. i think shes missing the oppurtunity of a lifetime

Is it just for a holiday? You guys need to be careful about sharing a room when you're unmarried. It's technically illegal, though it is overlooked in most places. Just be careful.

Otherwise, you've got Wild Wadi next door to your hotel which is a popular water park, the Burj Al Arab is next door too if you want to go sightseeing.

Taxis are fairly cheap, and the metro system is really good for getting you to and from most of the big tourist attractions.

The big malls with the major attractions are Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates. The former has an indoor ice skating rink, an aquarium, and is also the world's largest mall, so has a huge range of shops. The latter is the second largest mall in Dubai and is home to Ski Dubai.

The Walk in JBR is great for eating out, but so are many of the hotels around Dubai. And of course there is the Burj Khalifa and Palm to visit.

Also, be sure to check out the creek area in Old Dubai.
