Default nursing in saudi ne advice welcum!!!

hi i am a uk trained nurse but now work and live in australia. i'm thinking of going to work in saudi next year, maybe at the saudi aramco dhahran area. i was wondering if there's anyone who can give me any information on this and with regard to nurses wagers there. i'd be grateful of any info.

That may well be the case, but plenty of requirement and plenty of offers with crap salary and hours and has a degree in midwifery, 20 years Uk experience, 8 as an area supervisor and sits on the UK board of mivwives.
Doesn't mean a thing here!

I know quite a few nurses in Riyadh and the going rate seems to be between 14 and 16k a month ......... think at about £2k a month.

They are all American, Canadian or British, and I believe that the salary for other nationals can be much lower.

Not sure about Dharhan salaries for nurses, but I know a few Saudis who work in the EP and they always say that Saudi Aramco are one of the better payers in the area.

here in Dubai it won't but it is a different matter on the Aramco compound, I was working here as a Med Sec 8 years ago and was taking about about 5000 dhs, 8000 is big difference. PLUS the 8k came with free accomodation, airfares, medical etc
