So now into the 6th week in a hotel apartment near Deira city centre whilst we wait for our Mrs can't fix **** all fixer to get the DEWA on in the Ranches so I can escape.

I have had the displeasure of hearing a myriad of different bedroom noises from the many fake moans of pleasure from the 400 Dirham flipper hookers getting the back doors knocked out of them for 5 minutes, to a rather athletic and vocal Arab lady who must have worn her per other half out. She shagged half the night
But tonight I am listening to a woman making cat whailing noises.
Now when I was 20 years younger and 30 kilos lighter I used to think that I was a good shag (didn't we all) but I have never made a woman scream like a tom cat on heat. Should I call the police or should I feel suitably humbled?

Now just wish the headboard wasn't trying to make its way through into my bedoroom

So you spent your days in the bar in the city centre hotel - used to be a cracking little English type place, I hear it's a bit poncy now.

Nah I haven't even made it to the Ibis which has a bar. Am currently working with a team in the States so spend most evenings catching up with them working and BEing with a can in hand

Just would have been handy to have WIFI in the hotel bar and then could work and have a draught beer at the same time

Once whilst staying in a hotel I heard a couple of the balcony above me hurling abuse at each other about how fat the other had become...which wear clearly some sort of foreplay because 10mins after they were at it like a wind turbine, but only slightly less noisy.

Churchills? Not been there for years, but they used to serve pub grub and had live music.

Yes, that was the one, used to be a great little place, live band, pool tables, pop quiz etc.

Now it's a supposedly "industrial chic" (WTF does that mean?) with cool, if generic, exposed air shafts that line the ceiling (sounds like m0re). Chairs, stools and tables are plain and efficient & the long bar is tasteful but bland.
