Not cancelling dependent visa

Hi,

I am leaving Abu Dhabi soon. My wife and kids are already in UK. They sent passports/ID back via Parcelforce to initiate dependent visa cancellation. Parcelforce lost the parcel. As a result I cannot cancel the dependent vias. They don't owe anything or have anything that needs closing. Given this scenario what are the best and worst possible outcomes (be realistic, or creative) .....

ps . never ever use Parcelforce. Pass it on....

thanks!

Didn't cancel mine and the families back in 2010 when we left. We returned this year without any problems!

Re: Not cancelling dependent visa

AFAIK visas are automatically cancelled if you stay out of the country for more than 6 months. As long as they have no debts etc there should be no issues.
