Default no credit for real estate employees....

Not sure if this is important or not, but today's headlines (removal of retail credit facilities for employees of real esate firms) have spooked a few people here. Can anyone shed any light on the realities of this? Are they cancelling creditcards etc?

They will not cancel cards or recall loans. Think it applies only to new loans.

So Real Estate companies will go back to being leasing agencies and property managers...like it was when I was in the industry before they even started selling to non-nationals. I see no problem with this.

Get rid of the sales phonies - we can buy their second hand cars at cut rate prices...perhaps if we're lucky we can get some of their furniture in the numerous yard sales that will pop up in the next few months.

The real losers of course will be the people who listen to them and put down lots of money hoping to get short term gains who are now having troubling selling their "investment" before the next payment is due...
