Next question - anywhere for while-you-wait car AC servicing?

Think our car needs an AC recharge. Are there any reputable places in Dubai offering while-you-wait service without needing to book in advance?

Jeep. Make shouldn't matter unless it's a rare car though, right? Any while-you-wait places should be able to handle all the popular types of car you get here.

If you park next to the big rebuilt mosque near Rydges Plaza end of Satwa a thousand mechanics will descend upon you. Whether they are any good I cannot guarantee!

I was asking because I know a few German specialists......Anyway, Offroad motors behind All Quoz may be able to help, google them for the number. Think it's run by a Brit, but not 100% sure. If not, somebody told me that some of the Emarat garages have AC gear.
Rare doesn't make a difference, I assume the car was built after 1992 (think that was the year), if it was before it will use R12 Gas, after is R134A. There will be a sticker under the bonnet which confirms which gas you need.

Good thought, some of them do have servicing areas, they probably do AC too.

Discovered that Yellow Hat do it at their Nadd al Hamar location. 200 AED for a gas recharge.
