newbie: where best for families

newbie: where best for families
ok my other half is looking at jobs in the middle east he was offered one in doha, where he lived as a kid but from what i have read it not that great a place, we would have our two kids in tow 11 and 9. so where would everyone here say was best for families, just so i can keep an eye out. any advice would be most welcome. thanks

doha was a little bit like abu dhabi a bit behind dubai, but as ad is catching up with dubai, so is doha, it depends on what you are after.
