I saw an advert for this school this morning in the Gulf News, you drop off at 7.30 am and pick up at 7 pm??? and it has got a ski slope?? the kids have food in the bistro which only serves organic!! amazing. However it opens in September and according to this link it is about two mins away from Jammy and I - I pass this site every day and there is NOTHING there!!

Yes I heard it was opening in Sept! It's being run by the old head of JPS.
Rumour has it that they are also building a boarding school to compete with Repton.

Fees start at Dhs52k up to Dhs90k...thats the annual rent on a one bed apartment..

Dhs90k is the price of top private schools in the UK, but you get a lot more value for money and they are not money making schools.

Plus the kind of people your kids will befriend in UK private schools tend to be from pretty well established families and that all helps in business later in life.

Not to mention the culture, tradition and abject elitism based more on class and less on actual money unlike Dubai!

We are moving to Dubai next month and kids will attend Repton. Could anyone help with identifying the best place to live? Looks like it may have to be Arabian Ranches but we would like to try apartment living, in a more happening place,....but not more than 20 min from Repton as I have to go there 3 times a day.
Confused and bewildered.

As you come down Al Barsha Road from Emirates Road you can't miss it - a big blue building. All ready way behind schedule.

They had spaces before Christmas as a guy at work was offered one for his kid who is 6. he thought 55,000dh was a bit over the top though.

they were doing 50% discount as the children are being educated in rooms at the airport trade centre
