Anyone here still waiting on processing to the next stage from being under offer? I have been waiting for headcount/budgeting approval since Q4 2023.

Hey guys,
I am not sure if this is a good place to ask. I have a master's degree in Engineering in Data Communication and am looking for a job at NEOM.
I heard good stuff about it. if you could help me to find a job there pls send me a message

Did the Mobilization team give any indication of when it is likely to get approved?

All NEOM jobs get posted on careers.neom.com
Also check the subcontractors who are awarded work, you can Google search these or through articles on meed.com

I am also on "under offer " status - generally how long does it take from to get a formal offer and whats the next status after under offer ?

1 Week to 6 months based on posts here. The next step is 'in offer' which is usually when you should be receiving an e-mail with the written offer.

Default NEOM Potential Job

Hi,

I am going through the NEOM Interview for a Project Manager role leading the PMO function of the team.

Just wanted to know what should I expect from a salary perspective ? As I have heard it’s a standard 30% uplift from your UK salary.

Also, will be moving with my wife and three year old. Can anyone if any insight on accommodation, what do families actually do (worried we will be doing nothing in terms of recreation) and school placements ?

thanks

I don't have direct exposure to this, as I'm joining as a single person, but I've seen others commenting in the threads that Neom are, at least, discouraging spouses and families from relocating currently. They seem to just want the employee.

Do you have any insight on the salary ? Is it just a standard 30% uplift ?

We try to keep all NEOM related questions to the two main threads so that all of the info is in one place, I'll move your post there now. Have a search of those and you'll see that there isn't any family accommodation at the moment.

Good luck.

Correct, you can expect an uplift on current base salary.

Re accomodation, depends where you'll be working. Family, it largely depends where you're living. From my observations at NC1 for example, plenty of othe families to socialise with and community services put on evemts/activities.

Otherwise you can plan trips with your family either locally, regionally/international.

Default NEOM Potential Job

Hi, I used to live in Riyadh until 2020. Had to return to London due to personal reasons and cancelled my Iqama. Now, I am looking to relocate back to Saudi, but not getting any decent offers. Heard Neom is hiring like crazy. I applied for a few suitable roles, but no luck so far even though the roles fit exactly to my profile. Is there a trick I am missing? In the past, I had seen companies like Aramco hiring through specific HR agencies - are they any for Neom?

Thanks in advance

I interviewed late Jan.

The clear indication was that the school place waitlist was about 12 months (although your child is surely too young for school until at least late 2025?) and that they have only NC2 studio accom, unsuitable for families, for the next 12-18 months.

We would have been moving as two working adults (one PM and one teacher) plus one kid rather than 1 dependant adult and one kid.
I dunno if it would have been different if they really really loved/wanted me, but I definitely got the feeling I was not going any further as soon as I mentioned the need for a school place, no matter my skills.
(I also thought there was a big focus on communicating conditions and remoteness which I found jarring - because no sh!t. Afterwards realised it's because my panel have only ever worked in western European countries, and I'm in regional Aus. A 4-hour round trip on dirt roads to places with no shops or rec facilities is already a standard "office" day for me.)
